Michelle Wolf-Bloom, Ph.D.

Hello, I’m Dr. Michelle Wolf-Bloom, a compassionate and experienced psychologist with over 20 years of dedicated work in the field. Throughout my career, I have focused on assisting individuals in managing chronic medical conditions while addressing the accompanying depression and anxiety. Over the past 8 years, I have dedicated my efforts to providing support to the peripartum population and women dealing with hereditary cancer, infertility, and pregnancy loss. Guiding individuals through these sensitive and challenging issues brings me great fulfillment.

I consider therapy a harmonious collaboration. I contribute my expertise in tools and techniques, while you bring your valuable insights from your lived experiences. Together, we undertake a shared journey aimed at achieving your treatment goals, which may encompass reducing symptoms and suffering, enhancing day-to-day functioning, increasing joy, gaining a deeper understanding of self, and finding balance. I acknowledge that initiating therapy can appear intimidating. As your therapist, I concentrate on establishing a warm and empathic space that enables you to embark on this journey and embrace the necessary risks for healing and self-discovery.

My educational background comprises a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and a BA with honors in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. I also had the enriching experience of spending a semester at the University of Valencia in Spain, where I focused on improving my Spanish language proficiency.

During my leisure time, I love exploring new destinations, hiking amidst nature’s beauty, singing, savoring in diverse culinary experiences, and actively volunteering for social justice causes.
