“Healing begins when we are seen and loved in the very places we fear most.” – Curt Thompson, MD
This quote reflects the heart of my work as a therapist. I believe that when we are truly known and fully accepted, real healing and change become possible. Every person has inherent worth—and we all need support at times. Seeking help takes courage, and you’ve already taken the first step by being here.
Therapy is a deeply personal journey, and it’s a privilege to walk alongside you in that process. My intention is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel fully heard and supported—one where insight, growth, and lasting change can unfold at your pace.
My approach is relational and collaborative, guided by curiosity and deep respect for your story. I draw primarily from person-centered therapy, and often integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These frameworks help foster self-awareness, offer practical tools, and support clients in cultivating groundedness, clarity, and connection.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco in 2007, and have worked in diverse settings such as hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, school-based services, and community clinics. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the resilience and complexity each person brings to therapy.
Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in everyday adventures with my husband and our four young children. I also love connecting over a good cup of coffee, spending time in nature, and relaxing with a movie or shared laughter among friends and family.
If you feel we might be a good fit, I’d be honored to connect with you. Please reach out to schedule a consultation.
