Isabel Barrera, Billing Specialist

I’m Isabel Barrera, a Billing Specialist at Wellspring Psychology. In my role, I manage insurance processing, accounts receivable, and handle a variety of administrative duties to ensure smooth operations for both our patients and healthcare providers. My main goal is to make sure that our patients can focus on their care, while I take care of the behind-the-scenes billing and insurance processes.

Before joining Wellspring, I built my career in the healthcare field as a Medical Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator. These roles gave me a deep understanding of patient care and the administrative side of healthcare, which I now use to bridge the gap between clinical services and the financial side of things. I believe that clear communication and attention to detail are key in navigating the complexities of insurance and billing, and I always strive to provide a supportive, compassionate experience for our patients.

Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach, taking care of my plants, and enjoying quiet movie nights at home. I believe in the importance of balance in both my personal and professional life, and I’m always looking for ways to bring that sense of calm and clarity to my work.
